What smartphones are compatible with the app?

The Let’s Explore app, which is free to download, is designed to work seamlessly with your VR Goggles and Holographic Explorer Cube. It is compatible with a vast majority of the latest Apple (iOS) and Android smartphones.  Once you've procured the megapack, the Let’s Explore app is available for both Apple and Android devices.

Can the headset be used with other VR apps?

Our headset may be compatible with other VR applications, but as these are not tested by Let's Explore, we advise proceeding with discretion.

What should I be seeing looking through the headset?

You will see simple instructions, these will help you get the best experience from your VR Goggles and the Let’s Explore app.

How do I start an experience?

When you're ready to dive in, simply wear the VR Goggles and use the central target circle to select and load your desired experience.

I cannot see the app in the play/app store

To locate the correct app version in your app store, simply scan the provided QR code.

Will I need to purchase more equipment to experience other adventures?

Each app corresponds with a specific cube. Rest assured, the appropriate cube is included when you purchase a product.

What is the difference between “phone mode” and “goggles mode” in the app?

The app offers two viewing modes. The "goggles mode" offers a fully immersive VR experience, while the "phone mode" provides a slightly less immersive experience but doesn't require the VR Goggles.

I can’t hear any sound or the sound is too low, is there a way to adjust the audio?

Firstly, please make sure your phone is not in “Silent Mode”.  You can then use your phone's volume controls to adjust the sound levels.

My cube doesn’t seem to work, how can I fix it?

It’s important that the Let’s Explore Oceans Holographic Explorer Cube and its markings are easily seen by your smartphone. Make sure you are using your cube in a well-lit location.


If you stop seeing augmented reality content layered on top of your Let’s Explore Oceans cube it may be that you are blocking too much of the cube’s markings with your fingers. Try repositioning your hand around the cube to block less of the cube from the phone’s camera.
